This Morning's Ruth Langsford hits back after a fan accuses her of wearing 'frumpy clothes'
THIS Morning host Ruth Langsford has replied to a viewer who called her outfit 'frumpy' and 'old'.
As the blonde host promoted her latest QVC collection which she designed herself, the fan remarked: "Shame they put you in frumpy old women's clothes on This Morning!"
Ruth commented back with the dig on her Instagram video: "I chose the outfit myself and was very happy with it... can't please all of the people all of the time."
Other fans took to social media to reassure her she looked great in the aqua jumper from Marks & Spencer.
"Well I think you always look fabulous. And your clothes range is gorgeous x," one said.
Another one remarked: "Omg you are one of the most elegant, stylish and professional women on TV, I can't believe you're being insulted on here. So, so rude."
A third added: "I thought you looked gorgeous!!!"
One commented: "Ruth you always look so very lovely."
While another said: "You obviously look gorgeous but this colour really suits you! Have a lovely evening and I will be watching again at 10 tomorrow!"

Ruth and Eamonn are busy covering for Holly Willoughby and Phillip Schofield who have gone on a two month break.
Dermot O'Leary will also present This Morning over the summer.
The X-Factor presenter will host the morning show alongside regulars Rochelle Humes, 31, and Alison Hammond, 45.
Dermot, 47, will join fashion expert Rochelle Humes on the sofa on Fridays show, and will present alongside Alison for another.
Rochelle, 31, will have another presenting partner in the form of former Strictly winner Ore Oduba and they will present another Friday show.

The Friday dates will cover the rest of this month and August, while Ruth Langsford, 60, and Eamonn Holmes will grace our screens from Monday to Thursday.
