Marvin Sapp Wife Dies: MaLinda Sapp (PHOTOS, VIDEO)
Gospel singer Marvin Sapp is mourning the death of his wife MaLinda Sapp, who lost her colon cancer battle on Thursday. The news was released by his record label Verity Records.
MaLinda, 43, served as business manager and booking agent for her husband. She was also a psychologist, counselor and administrative pastor at Lighthouse Full Life Center Church in Grand Rapids, Michigan.
Sapp won BET Awards for Best Gospel Artist in 2008 and 2010. His hit songs include Never Would Have Made It and The Best in Me.
Though he was internationally famous, Marvin and MaLinda chose to live in Grand Rapids to keep the family solidly grounded. The couple have three children: Marvin Jr., Mikaila, and Madisson.
