‘Lady Gaga: Five Foot Two’ quickly drew attention surrounding its release on September 8, 2017… because 1) I mean, it’s Gaga, duh!… and 2) it’s notably confusing title. (Yeah, we know, we were also wondering why the 5′ 1″ songstress would choose to name her autobiographical doc “Five Foot Two.”) Well, if you have actually watched the much anticipated music documentary, you may have learned that “five foot two” is not a reference to her height at all, but rather a reference to a 1950s jazz song called “Has Anybody Seen My Girl,” aka “Five Foot Two, Eyes of Blue.” 

The song is said to be one of Gaga’s favorites and somewhat of a reflection of her own life. Luckily, you get to learn a lot more about the singing sensation throughout the film, such as her inspiration behind her fifth studio album Joanne and her private battle with fibromyalgia  behind her massive fame.
