Like the rest of the world, Kourtney Kardashian is still cooped up in quarantine.

And like so many others, she’s passing the time by snapping selfies and trying out various filters.

Unlike us peasants, however, Kourtney’s pics receive likes numbering in the millions and prompt endless speculation in comment threads and tabloids.

Sure, Kourt’s rocking a purple-eyed filter, but other than that, there’s nothing especially remarkable about it.

As you’ve probably heard by now, it appears that Scott Disick and Sofia Richie have broken up.

That means that for the first time in several years, Scott and Kourtney are both single at the same time.

Is that fact in any way related to Kourtney’s surge in sultry selfies?

Probably not, but it’s not hard to see why so many are convinced that Kourt and Scott are engaging in some low-key, quarantined ex sex these days.

For one thing, they’re both observing social distancing protocols, but because they share custody of their kids, they’ve been interacting with one another face-to-face.

That means if either Scott or Kourtney was feeling desperate for some "companionship," the other party would be on their very short list of viable candidates.

Of course, that pokes holes in another theory, which claims that Kourtney is communicating with Scott via thirst traps because she can’t speak with him in person.

Whatever the case, now more than ever, Kourtney doesn’t need a reason to show off some skin on the ‘Gram.

Reading too much into what she posts and taking her pics as a sign that she’s back with her ex seems sort of foolish — but Kourtney probably doesn’t mind.

After all, she clearly understands quarantine boredom, and the necessity of keeping it at bay.
