Demi Lovato Blasts Mariah Carey as Awful, "Rude"

Demi Lovato once called out Taylor Swift for being a fake feminist.

In other words: she’s unafraid to call out pretty much anyone in the music industry, not even its biggest name.

In the latest example of Lovato speaking her mind, the young artist has come out and absolutely laid into a legend, sticking it to Mariah Carey for her ongoing obnoxious behavior.

It all started when The Shade Is Real posted a split-screen shot of Carey and Ariana Grande on Thursday, including with it the caption, "when you order it online vs. when it arrives."

The photo (below) implies Grande is an inferior version of the Carey.

But Lovato did not agree with this assessment.

"You got it the wrong way around honey," Demi wrote in response to the picture and Grande diss.

It’s nice to see what Lovato’s split from Wilmer Valderrama hasn’t caused her to mellow out in any way, isn’t it?

As for what prompted Lovato’s seemingly random response, she did go ahead and provide us with a backstory.

Back in May, Carey was asked about Jennifer Lopez, saying infamously "I don’t know her" and acting as if she is far above J. Lo in the celebrity pecking order.

Lopez was later asked about this slight and brushed it off, saying her life is too "blessed" and she isn’t about to concern herself with some petty feud.

"This is why I posted what I did," Demi wrote, commenting on a video of Lopez rising above Mariah in an interview.

"Jen keeps it classy but I’m not afraid to say s—. The woman is mean for no reason. Extremely talented? Yes. Superhuman? Possibly.

"Unnecessarily rude? Absolutely."

Yes! Shot. Fired.

Will Carey respond to Lovato? Will we have a full-blown feud on our hands?
