“I just thought, I'm not taking her out of nursery, I'm not taking her out of school, I’m not leaving her for three weeks at a time.

She continued: “So the decision was kind of made for me.”

During the interview, the TV star also talked about how she missed being a part of A Place in the Sun.

Amanda said: “I would be lying if I said I didn't miss it because it was such a big part of my life. It kind of launched my career.”

However, the property expert teased that she could make a return to the much-loved property show when she said: “I might be doing something with them this year.”
